The painting I posted here a while back, the one of Megan, placed second in a gallery exhibition nearby. That was nice. It was the first juried exhibition I’ve been in.
This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.

Some life drawings from a drawing course I’m taking. Portraits are in pastel(terrible 12 packs of pastel that you can find at Wal Mart). They were all between 15-30 minute sessions. They were all taken with my phone, so the color in them is terrible.
I really really really hate this.
Soooo this is a video of bears playing hockey. If you haven’t clicked it yet, there are no words I can use here to convince you to start BEING AMAZED.
There’s honestly nothing cooler than bears playing hockey.
I had a really cool picture of the costume, but it hasn’t been uploaded yet. The lighting in the hall that I took this one in was terrible. SUPN00D?

I checked out a few reviews of the exhibition online. Looks like a great show.
Erik Jones.
I did a painting of the photo on the right sometime last semester. It was during a period that I wanted to experiment with styles similar to artists that I liked. I experimented with a style similar to Joshua Petker’s using that photo as reference. I looked on his website and saw that he did a painting based on the same photo. His is 293898234x better. He’s such a good artist.
